Bio.
Masaki Tanaka (田中 雅樹) is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo and a master’s degree in Economics from Washington University. Prior to entering Washington University, he worked as an economist at the Bank of Japan. His research interest lies in macroeconomics, especially macroeconomic policy, price theory, and macro-finance. He is currently conducting research projects related to monetary policy, mortgage loans, population aging, and the term structure of interest rates.
