Bio.
Masaki Tanaka (田中 雅樹) is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo. Before enrolling Washington University, he worked as an economist at the Bank of Japan. His reseach interest lies in macroeconomics, especially in macroeconomic policy, price theory, and macro-finance. He is currently conducting research projects related to monetary policy, mortgage loans, population aging, and term structure of interest rates.
